Did you try a search? This has been discussed many times here.
One option: start OOo with an option, something like: soffice -show presentation.odp |

Yes, as a matter of fact, I did do a search. But if it's there, I must not have searched for the right terms. I didn't see anything.

No problem--the forum search function leaves a lot to be desired.
Searching the Impress forum for "start +automatically" led me to this: start an impress presentation automatically, although some of the posts there are rather old and possibly outdated now.
There are some other suggestions there, but it sounds like you already have what you need. |
