Just wondering if this can be done and how to do it. Can't seem to find a solution.

Thanks,

Tim

Did you try a search? This has been discussed many times here.

One option: start OOo with an option, something like: soffice -show presentation.odp

There's now an extension for this available for 2.3

Yes, as a matter of fact, I did do a search. But if it's there, I must not have searched for the right terms. I didn't see anything.

Your suggestion did work. Thanks.

No problem--the forum search function leaves a lot to be desired.

Searching the Impress forum for "start +automatically" led me to this: start an impress presentation automatically, although some of the posts there are rather old and possibly outdated now.

There are some other suggestions there, but it sounds like you already have what you need.

Am I missing something here? Does the extension not do exactly what the OP is asking for?
