|
|
Ive downloaded OpenOffice1.0.2 for linux , i have successfully extracted the .tar.gz and got a /install directory.
As written in the help file , I became super user and ran ./install ,
but It returns hundreds of errors like this one:
"
an error occured while unpacking the file file.ext
unpack file: /usr/local/OpenOffice.org1.0.2/...../file.extan error occured while unpacking a file.
ExitCode : 0
"
at least , nothing is copied in the /usr/local/OpenOffice1.0.2 ...
why?
How to do?
Thx to all by advance. |

| Unpacking errors usually indicate a problem with the compressed tar file. Try running an md5sum on your download. |
