I volunteer to transcribe the Census for free use on the internet. I just bought Corel Word Perfect 11 just for this. My problem is that I didn't know I have to take a course just to understand how to work the program. Can't find help on the internet and bought the book for dummies. I am about ready to trash the whole thing. Any suggestions?

I fear you're in the wrong place if you're seeking WordPerfect help. OpenOffice has nothing at all to do with WordPerfect. Corel has their own (paid) support people and user forums (I believe) linked from their website.
