Are you asking if Writer can edit and/or modify PDF documents? if so, the answer is NO!
If you're asking if Writer can PRODUCE PDF documents as output files, the answer is an EMPHATIC YES!!! Just do File, Export to PDF from the menu and you'll have a PDF document that you can distribute.
There are many threads regarding this question: feel free to search for and peruse them
Hope this helps... _________________ I'm making perfect sense - you're just not keeping up! |

If, for any reason, it does not meet your requirements you might like to have a look at sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/ which I use with other applications that do not have pdf output, like microsoft stuff. It has another clever stunt: for single page documents it can save as .tiff, .png, or .jpg rather than .pdf. This is great for annotating drawings I have got from elsewhere. |

The file menu is the first menu on the menu bar. The menu bar is located directly below the window title. So start looking for "File" in the upper left corner of your OOo window.
