No.
But you can file a bug report (will be an enhancement request here), see : Rough step-by-step instructions reporting bugs.

But that's rather specific to statistical calculations I guess. I'm not sure it will be supported by many users. Sum is a very common function needed when highlighting cells. Additional calculations visible in the status bar could make it more difficult to understand or could lead to errors because the user looked at the wrong field.

ofc these new fields are the same as the original, u can change them, or set them to None. that 3 field is just an example, when i am working with OO Calc many times i need to know how much field(with data) were selected, and need the SUM value too. It's so annoying when u haveto change that only one field between SUM and COUNT all the time.
