| If you mean .lwp instead of .lwf then you can export them as MS Word .doc and then open then with OOo. |

In a pinch, you can recover the text from a .lwp file using text tools and a good text editor.
You'll have to re-format it, and if the document used a lot of frames it will be a challenge to put Humpty-Dumpty back together, but it can be done. |

This will work for only two of the four formats in which LWP saves--the ones without compression.
