column A - Date
Column B - Value.
Chart value by date.. no problem BUT I cannot figure out how to get the date label from column A to show as the x axis label. All I can get is a row number there. How do I get the date to show as the x axis labels?

I am using version 2.3.
After selecting Insert, Chart..., the chart wizard is displayed and in step two there is an option to select "First column as label" - selecting that option will replace Row 2, Row 3, etc. with the appropriate dates.
The option to select "First column as label" is also available if you right click in the x- axis and select Data Ranges... |

I am also using 2.3 but checking "first column as label" leaves me with and empty chart an a y axis that has a scale that seems to be related to nothing in my chart. It seems to be using the "B" column (my desired x axis), then, and ignoring the A column, my desired x axis lables.
I'm using WindowsXP. |
