| I love this feature, but why is the minimum 5 characters? And why isn't there a preset dictionary? Is there an architecture limitation or was it designed this way for usability? Ever SMS using T9 (auto complete)? I've been longing for this feature for years... |

I've been longing for this feature for years... | That might be nice, but it would have to be a bit more intelligent than T9, which never learns your personal word usage, can only be taught 50 words (on a first-in-first-out basis), and the list is not editable. |

The reason is probably that in many languages there are too many words that start with the same three or four letters, making the utility rather useless. In Dutch there are hundreds of words starting with "ver", "over", "inge", etc. So you'd have to work with a much larger word list, or you'd have to purge the list frequently, and the large word list might put a strain on your computer memory. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista
