Can anyone tell me how to insert a chart on a different worksheet to where the data is kept

Click on the graph icon, bring up the Wizard and then select the data series from there.

Could you expand on it please.
I did as you suggested but if I go to data range or series I cannot access the data on another sheet (Tab)

Sorry I was a bit cryptic before, I was running late.
Try this:
Data is on sheet 1
Graph in sheet 2
Go to sheet 2 and click on the graph icon
When the Wizard appears select the type of graph/chart that you want
When Chose data range appears click on the icon to the right of the Data range.
(This will collapse the mask)
Click on the sheet 1 tab, select the data series to be graphed.
Click on next
This should give you the graphic.
