I have installed OpenOffice2.3 on a Linux Redhat machine. When I go to the menu and try to open one of the applications, it acts as it may run and then just quits. There are two processes running at this time, one for the OpenOffice application and one for Java. I have also tried running the application from a terminal window & the same thing happens.

Which application? When you run it in a terminal do you get any error messages or anything to suggest why it quits?

| I have the same problem. I just installed openoffice2.3 on RHEL4. I have tried to launch the different modules without sucess. There are no error messages in the console when trying to launch the modules.... |
