Update Notifications

A while back I got a notification from within an OOo application that an update was available, so I let it download the update and I went ahead and installed it. This brought my software to version 2.3.1.

I'm still being notified that an update exists, but that update is to version 2.3.1 - the same one that I've already installed.

I've tried to just let it reinstall itself, or repair, or whatever, but nothing gets me out of this notification nightmare.

Can someone tell me the registry hack or ini file setting or whatever it is that needs to be set so that OOo stops bird-dogging on a version that's already installed?

You might try turning off the check entirely at Tools > Options > OOo > Online Update.
