|
|
I have to try this one more time... I'm trying to print labels using the Sun Report extension - which is a really great tool. Yes, I want to do it this way because I want the capability that functions provide me. Printing the labels with Writer just doesn't give me what I need. So my problem is this. The label sheet I'm using has three labels across the page. I have my labels all setup perfectly, BUT... I get the same record printed three times across the page. How can I force report to place three records worth of data across the page? I'm getting a little desperate, so any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul |

| Well as sort of a general comment you need a Next Record field between each label and you are apparently only get one between rows instead of columns and rows. Hope this gives you hint because I can't help with the Sun Report tool. If you can actually cause it to do columns then that might be the answer. |

Yup, I've had that same thought... just don't know how to do it. Also looked for some way to create columns with no luck.
Thanks... |

Paul:
While I think I understand what you want . . . I will send you a PRIVATE MESSAGE ( PM ) on the subject.
I do NOT know if you are willing to try it . . . but . . . it is a MACRO . . . that will read your ADDRESS database and put the data . . . three ADDRESS's across.
While it should work, I think, and, you can MODIFY the MACRO to reflect your exact needs, it is a starting place, I think.
