I wrote a set of macros that use dialogs over time and now with my latest upgrade to ubuntu 8 that comes with open office 2.4 all my dialogs are resized

when I import the libaries all is fine, up until the moment I execute them they appear smaller. When I load them in the dialog editor I see the normal size for a short moment and then it gets resized to dlg:width="81" dlg:height="94"

ofcourse when I save them, all my dialogs are saved with these values... resizing them and saving again makes no difference, it saves the values fine but ignores them at runtime...

in test mode they are displayed properly

does this sound familiar to anyone ??

another weird thing happening is I cant debug my code anymore.... If I open a module and I put a few breakpoints in the code, when I press 'Run BASIC' button, I get the dialog you normally get when you choose 'Run Macro' from the Tools menu.... instead of running the active module to the breakpoint?!!

wtf is going on here

its version 2.4.0 that comes with ubuntu 8.04

Hi,
You may have one or both of these problems :

Ubuntu own version of OpenOffice is troubled by Compiz, it displays incorrect window sizes in dialogs. Workaround : disable Compiz or install original OpenOffice.

Version 2.4.0 of OpenOffice has a regression (Issue 87596) on resizing windows.
