|
|
| I have an ODP presentation made up of 150 photos. I'm trying to export the whole thing to HTML. This proceeds without apparent error, but when I look at the result 51 of the images are entirely black, and their JPG file sizes are less that 10K, whereas the good ones are mostly over 100K. I get the same kind of result with two different ODP files of comparable size. Is there a solution to this problem? |

1. Are you using OpenOffice.org 2.4.0 or later?
2. Can you send me an .ODP document with just one or a few of the slides that are blank, so I can try it out? You can host the file online using a service like mediafire.com or sendmefile.com _________________ <signature>

| Thanks. There was no improvement when I updated to 2.4. However, I found that the blank images did not occur if I exported a presentation of shorter length. So I divided the presentation of 150 slides into two of 75 each, which I later combined into a single folder (requiring some renaming of files). This was time-consuming, but it worked. Let me know if you think of a better way. |

If the document doesn't contain confidential information, I can help you submit it to the bug tracker. _________________ <signature>

| I have 2 presentations in ODP files of about 58 MB each. Both present the same problems of including blank black slides when I export to HTML formal. Information is entirely made up of travel photos, not confidential. How could I best send one or both of them to you? |

Just one file to reproduce the problem should be plenty, but 58MB is too large. Does the bug still happen if you use the Presentation Minimizer to downsample the photos? If you can get it to somewhere around 10MB or less, please put it on a web hosting service such as http://sendmefile.com or http://mediafire.com . Then, you can just send me the address. _________________ <signature>
