|
|
Every time I open OOo and click on the file button I find these shortcuts to old documents many of which I have already deleted, still in the drop-down menu. How do I delete the shortcuts and restore everything to its original state? It's easy to get rid of shortcuts on Windows explorer as you just right-click them and a delete button appears in the drop-down menu, but this doesn't happen in OOo.
Any help would be highly appreciated. |

Note also that the same thing happens in Word, and you cannot right-click on those shortcuts either.
However, for OOo, there is now a New! Improved! solution. Download Danny Brewer's handy macro "Recent Files List Changer" from OOoMacros, now at http://ooomacros.org/user.php#100070. Shut down OOo, and make sure you turn off the Quickstarter too, down in the system tray. Then open the macro doc, follow the instructions on the screen, and shut OOo down again (also the Quickstarter). Next time you open OOo, the Recent Files list should be just as you specified!
Happy computing,
