Hi! I want to add keyboard shortcuts to insert some symbols when I'm writing in spanish but I don't know how to do. I've got an italian keyboard, I need to use symbols like N with the tilde, and vowels with accent and so on.. This symbols are available in Insert -> Symbols, but I can't use the menu when I'm typing a text!!

Hola. Necesito asignar una combinaciòn de teclado para algunos caracteres del alfabeto espanol (n y vocales con tilde..). Mi teclado es italiano y algunos caracteres basicamente ..no existen! Claro que estos lo encuentro en Insertar -> caracteres especiales.. pero no es viable abrir el menu cada vez que tengo que insertar una letra mientras estoy redactando un texto.

What is your OS?
You should be able to switch keyboards easily whether you use Windows, Mac or Linux.
The US International keyboard may be another option.
On Linux there is something called the "compose key" which offers yet another option.
Setting up macros to insert them is also not unknown.

my OS is Windows vista.

AllChars for Windows is a handy utility that works well with XP . I don't know about Vista
