|
|
In a sheet, I've found that pressing the "End" key takes me to the end of a row, and pressing the "Home" key takes me to the beginning of a row. Pressing "ctrl-end" takes me to the last cell in the sheet's lower right if you will, and pressing "ctrl-home" takes me to the first cell in the sheet's top left. "Page up" and "Page down" seem to take me up and down a certain number of cells within a column.
Am I correct, and what other keyboard shortcuts exist for navigating within a sheet in Calc? |

Just keep on playing. Look what happens when you hold the CTRL key and press down, up, right, left arrows. See the Name Box, left of f(x)? Type in a cell name like D35. .....

Alt+arrow key resizes the active cell.
F6 cycles through open toolbars/toolboxes. |

| Ctrl with left or right arrow keys appears to give inconsistent navigation, depending on the column. What is it doing? |

I don't know. What is it doing? I see no inconsistency. It should take you to the far left and far right.

similar to excel, lets say you are in a non-empty cell
control left/right/up/down will bring you to the furthest 1st non-empty cell
if you press control+direction again, it will bring you to the 1st non-empty cell
if you are in an empty cell, control+direction will bring you to the 1st non-empty cell |
