Ello all.
Im here because i have an interesting question. I am in the IT department of heavy mining and construction equipment company. We use Open office here. Well one of my co workers has experienced an interesting phenomena. Every time she types 10-23-08, Office automatically changes it to 10/23/08. If she types 8.00, Office takes off the .00 and leaves the 8. We need it to have the dashes and the decimal points due to formatting of our invoices and other paper work.
How do i change that?
thanx |

For dates as you want them format the cell as Text (Format > Cells > Number tab & set Category = Text).
For 8.00 do the same but on the Number tab select Number and the format you want. |

| Format it and save it as a template. |
