How to use xBase connectivity on FoxPro DOS 2.5 tables

Hi all

I believe this is more a Writer post than a Base one.

I was trying to raise a database connection for FoxPro for DOS 2.5 free tables. I was also able to select the folder in which these 2 dbfs resided in. I could also see the 2 table when I opened the OOo Base, but when I tried to use them in the Writer merge document I was not able to select the table. Thus could not add the fields in the merge document. On the other hand I could use ODBC connection in the OOo Base and then use the fields in the merge document.

Please advise on what I might have missed to use the OOo xBase connection?
