Hi List
It is possible to center (horizontally) a text with different length of lines, in such a manner thateach line is centrerd?
Example
Animal Society in T
conference 2009
If I use alignment 'center', the distance from the left and right margins are different.
Any way to make those equal? Those the type of font have any influence?
Thanks,

I can't measure any difference in distances when I try that text from your example, or any other text for that matter. I tested on OOo 2.4 running on Windows XP.
A few things can make centered text shift out of alignment:- Leading/trailing whitespace, like tabs and spaces (they're part of the line, though invisible).
- Paragraph indents, particularly first line- / hanging indents.
- Altered margin settings (centering relates to text area, so if left and right margins are different, centered text is not in the middle of the sheet).
