|
|
Hello all,
I have to copy the format of one cell to several others. I can do this with the "format paintbrush" tool. However, I have to select the tool again and again for every new object. I wondered whether there is a way (ie. keyboard shortcut) to keep the style in memory to be able to apply the style to one object after the other without having to click on "format paintbrush" every time.
Thanks for your help.

Highlight a formatted cell (Ctrl+Click)
Drag it into the stylist window and give a name.
Select (multiple) range(s).
Double-click the style.
Some hours later: Because you are not satisfied with the formatting you just change the style and, voilá, all the cells are changed. _________________ Rest in peace, oooforum.org

I should have had that idea myself. Great way to do and modify things later. I really appreciate your answer. Thanks.

| Or double click the paintbrush. Esc to quit. |
