Yes, you can. Images seem to give more trouble. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista

I tried a copy-paste from FF before I posted and it worked. Maybe it depends on what site you copy from. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista

You can always "Paste Special…" instead of Paste, and that dialog will show you what format the application you copied from created the clipboard in.
When I copy from FF3, there appears:
"HTML (HyperText Markup Language)"
"Unformatted Text"
RTF is one of the formats that include color information. HTML too, as far as the color is not in a CSS not included in the HTML code (I doubt it)
There may be more formats I don't know.
There are plug-ins for FF that allow you to copy in more formats (RTF, as tables, etc)
I've found Safari can copy and email a WHOLE web page, with all fixed links, JavaScript and everything to work from a local computer (or email client), as far as the client supports it, of course. |
