Formula appears hazy when inserted in a html document

I use the 'Insert>Formula' feature for inserting a formula into a HTML document. Then, when I open a saved copy in a browser (FireFox), the formula appears very hazy and not sharp. Is this a problem with OpenOffice Writer or there is some way of removing the haziness of inserted formula?
