A user created within writer a few sxw files and saved to desktop temporaily and thus recieves a filter selection prompt when d/clicking the file .Thus alternativly File > Open > file.sxw opens athe empty file with no text or data .I have tried selecting OO writer text {web etc etc } from the filter selection No joy!. I a have also tried Start Menu > Programs >OO 1.0 > OO Setup > Repair > No Joy
Running O/S Win4Lin WBT & Win 98 SE this is only happended to one WBT .
Any suggestions welcomed as I have now had too install M$ word 97 in the meantime.
