Hi
I have done some search in this forum and found two threads:

The problem disussed is the default style of bullets. The problem I run into is: the button "Bullets On/Off" applies A bulleting style. But it is not any of the defined styles (List 1 ... List 5). Is there a way to define wich kind of style (bullet character, indents and spacings) is applied when I hit the bullet button on toolbar?

Unfortunately, no I don't think there is a way.
Its not exactly the same, but see this issue:
http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=27502
Unfortunately no target milestone has been set for that yet, but hopefully it won't take too long... Maybe it would be a good idea to add this request as a comment to that issue, or even log a new one for it.
