I'm trying to chart countries' economic and social policies against their "happiness index." But when I select the data and insert a chart, the data on the x-axis arranges itself according to the alphabetic-ness of the country categories instead of the value i have assigned for the economic and social policies of that country. it even does this when i remove the country categories completely. what the heck is going on?

What kind of chart/graph are you using? I don't seem to be able to replicate the problem but I may not understand the data layout. _________________ jrkrideau
