Making a colum. chart

I'm making a column chart, and what I want is something like this:


As you can see, on the top of each column there is a value displayed.
How to do that in OO Calc?

When you've created a column chart, click one of the columns. All columns should get a selection mark.
Right click and select Object properties.
The Data labels tab has the options you need.

Insert > Data Labels.

But why bother? It just distracts from the overall chart and is generally considered poor data display technique.

Well, sometimes I'm curious about the exact value of each column.

And, yeah, it's a bit distracting.
