Changes made in OO not seen in MSWord

Hi!
I had written a document in oo and converted it to Word 2003/XP. I had translated it and sent it for proofreading to an associate and after she made corrections I applied them to my oo document and resent it back to her converted to MS Word. She says that I did not make the corrections she suggested. I insist that I did, I have the doc in front of me. What could be causing this problem? How can it be fixed?
