Hi.
I want to vertically align three formulas. How can I achieve that in Writer?
The expectet way to do that I think would be selecting all three, but Writer doesn't let me select more than one formula at a time.

One way (there may be others)
Put a 3 row 1 column table in your document
right click each of your formula, in turn, and Anchor>to character
Now cut each one and paste it into your table
You can now right click each formula and align left right or centre, inside the table cell (as well as top, bottom or middle for) _________________ Kubuntu 11.10 LibreOffice3.4.4 |

Forgot to say - the formulas is placed on top of a large picture. I won't use a table based solution. _________________ Windows XP sp2 |

put you picture on thee page and anchor>to page - position as required.
Arrange>send to back
Wrap>in background
table and formula are now on top on picture
Not elegant but may get you what you want
(if anyone else can think of a neater way of doing this.... now come on, don't be shy) _________________ Kubuntu 11.10 LibreOffice3.4.4 |

Writer is a word processor, not a graphics layout program. I would prepare the graphic *and* the equations in draw, and then insert the combination as one graphic object in Writer.
Yes, in Draw, you have the "Align - Centered" command. _________________ --
