OOO basick - clear a drawing

I have a target (for airguns) generator and I'd like to have the ability to erase one page of targets (after it's been printed, presumably) before drawing another. Obviously, the user can 'select all' and then 'cut' - but it would be cleaner to have the program clear before it draws again. I've not been able to find the proper procedure.
