Scribus

I have only recently migrated to OO so still finding my way around.
I recently installed "Scribus" to eventually replace MS Publisher. The problem I have is that when I click to print the page I have constructed my printer goes into Fax mode.
This happens if I use the print icon or if I use file + print
If I use publisher then I do not have any problem, everything prints as normal.
The printer is a Lexmark 5470 all in one.
Has anyone any idea what causes this?
Any solutions?

You might want to make sure the document is set up for the right paper size. I have noticed a tendency for Scribus to default to A4 paper size rather than Letter. If that is the case, then the different size may be confusing your printer.

You can check the page size by going to File->Document Setup.

The page is A4 size, so I dont think thats the problem. I will have another go tomorrow and start from scratch again. Thanks for your assistance.

All sorted. Uninstalled then re-installed, now all working well Very Happy
