|
|
I'm using headings to format my document so that I can use a table of contents.
So I pulled up the styles and formatting window, right clicked the clicked modify on Heading 1, Heading 2, etc. I changed the fonts to what I wanted them to be.
Then I put my cursor on the text I wanted to be a heading and double clicked the heading I wanted to apply from the styles and formatting window.
I set my heading 4 to be bold italic. For all my heading 4's, the font, size, and bold apply correctly. But the italic only applies to some of the heading 4's.
Is this a bug or known issue or am I doing something wrong here?
I'm using OS X 10.6.2 and OpenOffice 3.2.0.

If you highlight a caption that does not reveal italics, then use the command "Format - Default" (or shortcut key Ctrl+M), does the italics appear? _________________ --

Yes, the italics do appear in that case.
What does that mean? |

| Probably that you had previously applied direct formatting to the paragraph. |
