|
|
Hello,
After I create an individual bibliography following a standard format (APA in my case), I would like to save the format for use in later documents (i.e. I don't want to recreate the format each time). Is there a way for me to do this?
Thank.

Hey John
got the same question as you. Did you also managed that the entries in the text are in APA?
Would you mind to send me the template if it is possible to save.
Kind regards

I have already answered a similar question some time ago, but I am too lazy myself to search for it What you can do to "archive" bibliography formats for reuse is to keep them in files (can even be in one file), and copy the one you want to your document. then update the table to create your custom bibliography for your document. |

ftack: Thank you, I will do it this way.
CDM: I have one lengthy document that I have only journal articles, books and book chapters with titles, so it doesn't represent much of a template yet. I can send you something, but you are probably better off doing the same thing with your own database.
FWIW: I sort the database by opening it in the ooo spreadsheet, then simply sorting on short name. Columns can also be widened in the spreadsheet, IIRC.
