| I am using OO basically just for the writer for school and I have to enter a password when I save things and my professor cannot open anything I send her without entering a password. How do I fix this? |

Save your file through "File" > "Save As ..." and uncheck the checkbox "Save with password" in the "Save"-Dialog before you press the "Save" button. That's all. |

For applying a password to your document, you have to follow these steps:
- First you have to open Save As dialog box by selecting "Save As" command from File menu.
- Then, click "Tools" button of Save As dialog box and choose "General Options" from drop down menu, "Save" dialog box appears as shown in figure below.
- Then Enter first password in "Password to open" text box and second password in "Password to modify" text box (if required) and click "Ok" button of dialog box. Microsoft Word will open "Confirm Password" dialog box for the confirmation of passwords. In that the maximum length of password is 15 characters.
-Then you have to re-enter the password to open and password to modify and click "Ok" button of Confirm Password dialog boxes one by one.
- Finally click "Save" button of Save As dialog box. _________________ viral marketing |
