how to make default color as red in calc?
Also i need a shortcut for making the particular texts to red from its default black color without using the mouse(only using the Keyboard)

Any way to achieve this?

The default color of text is black, and you probably want to keep it this way. If not, you can edit the default style to display red font. You could create a new style where you specify "red" and apply that style where needed.

2nd part of your question: record a macro and assign it a keyboard shortcut.

Styles and Formatting
Use the Styles and Formatting window to assign styles to objects and text sections. You can update Styles, modify existing Styles or create new Styles.
The Styles and Formatting dockable window can remain open while editing the document.

To access this command...
Choose Format - Styles and Formatting
F11 key
On Formatting Bar, click

Styles and Formatting


How to apply a cell style:
1.Select the cell or cell range.


2.Double-click the style in the Styles and Formatting window.
