|
|
Hi,
I want to add labels to the data points in a scatter (xy) plot. I read in older threads how to do it, but in OOo 3.2 the data labels come out wrong. Take for example this table:
A 1 6
B 2 10
C 3 2
I want to produce a scatter plot of the second column as x-values, third column as y-values and first column as labels. If I follow the standard procedure to create the plot and set the first column as label, then 'Insert data labels', the labels that I see are the data values of the third column.
This seems to be a bug. Can anyone confirm this?
OOo320m12 (Build:9483) on Windows Vista64
Thank you,
Jochen |

Do you select "Show category" when you go to Insert>Data labels... ? _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.6 on Fedora 18, LibreOffice 4.0.2 on Ubuntu 13.04 (Double Boot) |

Thanks - your reply put me on the right path: I inserted the data labels by right-clicking on a data point. In that case you are not presented with the window that allows to choose the category. One needs to go through the menu 'Insert -> data labels..' to get there.
It is working now. Thanks for the hint!
