time typing

i have a lot of times to type into a spreadsheet and i want to be able to type in 2129 and have it display as 21:29 , i want to save time having to type in the : between the number but when i format the cell for time when i type in 2129 it displays as 00:00 no matter what i type.any help on how i can get this done to save a lot of time...any help would be appreciated ..thanks
