Hi,
I am using ooo3.1.1 on ubuntu 9.10
Sometimes when I create a new sheet, cells with dates show wrong dates when I reopen my file.
For example: I write 10/12/2010 (dd/mm/yyyy) and when I reopen I see 09/11/2006
That's a very annoying problem.
Is it known?

Thank you,
nicola

I haven't heard of a known bug, but it looks like your dates were first registered with dates starting on Jan 1 1904 (old Mac format) and then reopened with dates starting in 1901 or 1899. Does it happen when you save in native format or in other formats?

Hi,
I created a new calc from scratch here on ubuntu.
I have this horrible problem with dates. You realize only when you reopen the file.

Bye
Nicola

Problem with this issue is that it occurs every now and then but nobody ever uploads expample documents.
What is the actual numeric value of the date cell when you query VALUE(A1)?
Does that day number change when you reload?
How about the zero day setting before and after reload in Tools>Options>Calc>Calculation?
