|
|
Hello guys,
I ran out of black ink and I needed to print my documents now.
I wonder how can I print my spreadsheet properly.
I can change the color of the text properly but I can't find the option where I could change the color of the grid when I print.
Thanks in advance.
Regards!

Looks to me like you will have to use coloured borders.
You can change the grids colour however it seems that this has no affect on the grid's printed colour.

When I go Tools|Options|OpenOffice.org Calc|View|Gridlines|Colour and change the colour from the default "Light grey" to some other colour the gridlines on the sheet appear with the new colour.
However, when I then go File|Page Preview|Format Page||tick "Grid" under the "Print" heading on the "Sheet" tabsheet of the "Page Style: Default" dialog, the gridlines appear black, not the new colour I had previously chosen.
I can't see any setting that would cause the printed gridlines to adopt the new gridline colour.
Also, the gridlines print black even when the gridline colour is the default Light grey.

ken is right.
changing the color of the grid is a screen-only effect. when you print, it stays black.
colored borders sure did the job. but had to do that to several worksheets in order to achieve the effect i wanted.
hopefully, this will be addressed sooner by the ooo guys.
thanks all for your responses. |
