Open Office closing issue.

Hi Gurus

I need to disable the popup window we get when we close open office document/presentation/spreadsheet .The pop up window contains icons for creating new documents/spreadsheets/presentations and also has icons for Templates,Adding new templaes,Registration of Openoffice,Know more about openoffice etc etc.

I don't want to be prompted by this wizard when i close my document/spreadsheet/presentation.

Would appreciate if someone can let me know how to disable this window.

Tools-->Gallery maybe. You'll have to be more clear. I've never seen a pop up when closing a file.

Hi Thomas,

1. Open OpenOffice writer.
2. A blank page comes up. Just below the close button for the doc,there will be another close button.
3. click that close button(underneath the close button for window).
4. A window/popup/wizard will be displayed with "openoffice.org 3" header and icons for text document,spreadsheet,Drawing,database,presentation,formula,open a document,Templates.
5. I want this window to be disabled.

If there is a way to paste screenshots here,i could have shown you in gretaer detail.
Please help me out.

That's the Welcome screen. I don't know of a way to disable that.

Hi Thomas,

I followed the link and i am able to disbale the welcome splash screen.

But that was not my requirement. My requirement is to disable the close button altogether(The close button underneath the close button of window) which prompts.

Any way i can do this?
