|
|
I have created Write document and created index table selecting "Insert | Indexes and Tables | Indexes and Tables | Index/Table tab".
Then I have selected "Export directly as PDF" icon from toolsbar and exported document to PDF.
I opened PDF document and move down pages to index table. Moving mouse over index table and there is no option to click on index link to jumb from index to actual page.
I am 100% sure this feature was working in previous versions.
What should I do have this link feature in PDFs? |

floris_v, you are right I have installed OpenOffice 3.2.1 from Go-oo.org web page one week ago. Before that I used official OpenOffice from official www.openoffice.org web page.
Now I have uninstalled Go-oo version and installed OpenOffice from official openoffice.org web page and this problem disappeared.
I have also noticed that, now after installing official OpenOffice, revision number is working again. Revision number is added by using "Insert | Fields | Other | DocInformation tab | Revision number" and after every click on on Save button number increases by 1. In official OpenOffice its increments automatically, but in Go-oo.org you have to press <F9> button to refresh this info. Don't know if this is a feature in Go-oo.org, because this is working just like in Microsoft Office Word, but I like to have a auto-refresh like it is in official version.
Is there any other "broken" feature with Go-oo.org or vice versa - broken in OpenOffice?
I have noticed that official OpenOffice 3.2.1 Calc only have of 65536 max rows but Go-oo.org has 1 million rows. I have also read there is a 1 million option available in OpenOffice 3.3 beta. |

Go-oo has other bugs than OOo as you have just found, but it also seems to support MS Office a lot better, and has a bigger capacity for Calc files than the plain vanilla OOo had. So - what version you should use depends on your needs. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista
