Hi All,

I want to create a combo box in a basic macro.
I want to place and anchor the combo box in a cell on a sheet in calc.
I want to fill the cell with the combo box.
How do I do these things? Create, place, fill?

Really I want the cell to have a drop down list he can also type into for that cell.
So maybe I don't want a combo box.

Maybe there's a way I can use validation.
What are my alternatives?
What's the best way?

Turns out validation works fine here.

I left Data->Validity->Error Alert blank.

The user gets a list but can type if he wants.

Plus the values goes straight in to the cell which is where I need it.
