Page numbers. Preface with i,ii,iii then re-start with 1,2,3

I'm trying to have a document with page numbers, but with the first few pages, the preface, with lowercase Roman numerals, and the rest with Arabic numerals. I followed this tutorial:

It's helpful, showing how to use a page break to start page numbers over. But it neglects to tell you how to change the second set of page numbers back to Arabic numerals. When I try changing the second set they all change.

Can anyone give me any hints???

Ok - I've got it figured out now, sort of. This post helped: http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=12237 The first tutorial I read assumed you knew what Page Styles were, and sort of skipped over that part - which is essentially the whole thing.
