Thank you for your time.
I am a fairly new user of OpenOffice. I am building a financial spreadsheet product that I intend to sell. I want to create a button that the user can click to add in a new row of data that would look like: "Enter expense" | numeric input (where | delimits the 2 cells in the row). This would allow the user to input an unlimited amount of expenses and alter the "Enter expense" title as desired.
After the user has entered all of their rows, the titles of these rows would need to be copied over to another sheet in the product. Likewise, the data from the numeric input will be used in calculations in another sheet as well. Is it possible to do accomplish all of this with a function/other methodology? |

| Data pilots is the way to go, if I'm reading you right. To some extent, a data pilot can be used to extract textual data as well as numerical. |
