Can't open .odt docs

Hi there,

Since I changed my PC I can't open OO docs. I've tried uninstalling it and installing it again with no results. I've also tried with different versions of OO but the problem persists.
Whenever I try to start an .odt doc I get the following error:

Try Revo Uninstaller Free to completely remove the old install. This looks like for some reason you have a very old version of OOo.

I'll try that and let you know the results... but... If it didn't work from the very beginning when i first installed open office, old files that are not removed cannot be the reason, right?

I tried removing with Revo and I still have the same problem. I've got version 3.3 currently installed and I'm experiencing the same error:

Did you download from here www.openoffice.org ?

The error message you posted indicates that you do not have v3.3 installed but v3.0. Re-run Revo Uninstaller. After Revo runs go back and delete all directories related to Openoffice in C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 3\program\ and C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\OpenOffice.org.
