back-log when "HOME" was pressed

i wonder if this occurances was set by the "MAKER" of the community...

everytime I press home; I need to log-in again.. is it normal?

I copied the URL for this post, I pressed Alt+Home, which takes me to my home page, then I went directly to the URL and I did NOT need to login again.

I am using Firefox on Linux, so I can not test IE at the moment.
