Error with ODS file Help getting info

Hi,
I save all my files on an external hard drive and I went to open my spreadsheet that keeps track of days I work, where, etc. Haven't opened it in at least a week because of vacation. When I did I got a file asking me about Text import and wants me to choose things such as language and such

I have looked around to see if there is a way to get data out and it seems there is a way to extract files. It mentions using zip and such. However, I am not able to do this using my regular windows zip and wondering if anyone else has some advice. I am not exactly tech savy so detailed steps would be great.

Does the file format match the file extension? In other words, I expect a Calc document to use the ods file extension.

Yes, it's ods. 32 kb so seems like the info is still there.

That said, if this is really an ODS file, then you should be able to copy the file to say "test_file.zip" and then view the file internals. If you are able to do this, someone that understands how ODF files are packaged should be able to pretty quickly verify that it is what you think.

If the file is not usable as a ZIP file, then it was not stored as an ODS file, even if the file extension is ODS.
