| I have 2 columns of data that I wish to chart against each other. In Column A is a Date ie 01/09/2011 and in Column B a Value. I want to a line chart of Value (Y axis) against Date (X axis) with the date appearing along the x axis as 'September 2011' and not just the an integer showing which reading number it is. How do I change the x axis labelling? |

In a x/y-scatter type of chart both axes are numeric scales and they are freely formattable. _________________ Rest in peace, oooforum.org

New chart: Create an x/y-scatter chart, double-click the chart, double-click the x-axis, set the number format.
Existing one: Double-click the chart, Right-Click>ChartType... x/y-scatter, double-click the x-axis, set the number format. _________________ Rest in peace, oooforum.org
