| In writer How can I change fonts. I want to download some handwriting fonts not in the normal list. When I download the fonts how can I get them into writer so that I can specify them? |

Fonts work on operating system level, not just in OOo. Install them - in Windows by adding those fonts to the Fonts folder. You have to restart OOo before you can use the new fonts.

| Many thanks for your help. I will give this a try. Sorry for sounding so incompetent but I am completely new to libre and also the wrong side of 70 so things don't sink in so quickly. |
